Dr. Brown is a very accomplished orthopedic surgeon in Houston who specializes in arthroscopic and open surgeries to repair shoulders and knees, including shoulder replacements. He is compassionate and understands that going to the doctor can be stressful. He tries to make patients feel comfortable and helps them recover, whether they need surgery or not. Dr. Brown has a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, went to medical school at Baylor College of Medicine, did a residency at the University of Kansas Medical School, and completed a fellowship at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery, which is part of Weill Medical College and Cornell University.

Knee Arthroscopy

Dr. Barrett Brown is a very fine physician. He is also a friend. While he is a surgeon he said this about my horribly painful shoulder. First we will try an injection performed by our specialist using ultra sound. (It was painless.) If that does not relieve your pain we will do a cat scan to evaluate the rotator cuff.
